Fidelity Services Group CEO, Wahl Bartmann, has confirmed that the company was awarded a three-month emergency contract with Eskom, South Africa’s power utility, to provide comprehensive security services.
Eskom, the South African power utility, awarded a three-month security contract worth R500 million to Fidelity Services Group, which could have cost only R30 million, according to a report by City Press.
Eskom, the South African power utility, has placed its acting head of security, Karen Pillay, on precautionary suspension.
