Eskom employees hiring assassins to keep mouths shut: report 

Employees at Eskom, South Africa’s power utility, have allegedly hired assassins to silence individuals exposing corruption within the organization. One such case involves Dorothy Mmushi, an employee in Eskom’s forensics department, who reported a criminal syndicate operating within the organization.  

She claims a hitman was hired to kill her after she opened a criminal case against her colleagues. Despite reporting the matter to Eskom, the South African Police Service (SAPS), and the Hawks, no action has been taken to arrest the hitman.  

High-ranking officials have been linked to criminal activities at Eskom, including acts of sabotage, theft, and corruption, contributing to the country’s energy crisis. The battle against these criminal elements has been challenging, but some arrests have been made
